“Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn.” – O. Fred Donalds
Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, physical, cognitive, social, sensory and emotional strength. Play is important for healthy brain development and it is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them.
A doll can be someone to talk to, spend time with, play and cuddle. A companion in a hurting world.
Dolls speak a universal language. Where feelings of sadness, hurt and loneliness lie, we pray our dolls can bring comfort, happiness, fun and joy.
Our dolls are not hand-me downs these have each been uniquely and beautifully created for each child.
Our book, Imagine if you had a friend, has been written by our team and beautifully illustrated by former Disney animator, Dawn Lam.
The story features their new doll and how they might play together, interact with others, experience leisure as well as self-care.
“I will defend the importance of bedtime stories to my last gasp.” – J. K. Rowling
